Each reading opens with a fun lift-the-flap page, which kids open to reveal a Bible passage and colorful illustration. On the opposite page, DeYoung retells a related Bible story or prophecy that foretold Jesus’s coming, and shares a simple prayer to recite.
Books are available for purchase in the Resource Center.

Hickory Grove is partnering with Present Age Ministries to provide their clients and their clients' siblings gifts for Christmas. If you are interested in sponsoring a child for Christmas, click here for the Present Age gift list (children sorted by age). Gifts must be returned to the church by Sunday, November 23.
Support Local Ministries
Hickory Grove is partnering with Ground 40, Present Age Ministries, Gate Pregnancy Resource Center, and Queen City Pregnancy Resource Center to provide items during Christmas that the ministries will use in the upcoming year. Send a shoebox
Operation Christmas Child delivers the Good News of Jesus to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Stop by the lobby display for further information or to pick up a shoebox to fill with items needed. Shoeboxes can be returned during National Collection Week: November 17-24. Click here for drop-off/collection times.
We are also in need of volunteers to accept boxes being dropped at the church and prepare them to be delivered to the OCC Processing Center. If you are interested in volunteering, register here.
