Volunteer Opportunities
MINISTRIES OF HICKORY GROVE
FAMILY TRUNK OR TREAT:
Join us at either our Harris or Mallard Creek Campus as we reach and engage the communities around our church locations with the hope of sharing the gospel on Saturday, October 24, 4-6 PM! Registration is open to both Community Groups and individual members who wish to provide a decorated trunk or serve as an event volunteer. Click here for complete details and to sign up.
Neighborhood Outreach:
Our Neighborhood Outreach teams share God's love with our community. We go out once a month to connect and pray with our neighbors.

Clothes Closet:
The Clothes Closet exists to assist those in need of clothing, shoes, and other apparel. A community shopping event is held 2-3 times a year at our Harris Campus to provide those in our community with clothing essentials.
Car Care:
Car Care is an outreach ministry in the community designed to ease the financial burden of routine oil changes for single women and widows. Car Care operates twice a year and is by appointment only.
Food Pantry:
A ministry of Hickory Grove that exists to meet the needs of our neighbors experiencing a food crisis.

ESL (English as a Second Language):
A ministry of Hickory Grove, seeking to share the Gospel while providing English classes to our community.

Hearts & Hammers:
A ministry of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, seeking to provide home access and mobility for people who are disabled or elderly, primarily in the building of wheelchair ramps and handicap railing installation.

Sports League Coach:
An opportunity to invest in others through coaching youth basketball/Cheer, youth baseball/softball, and youth soccer.

MINISTRIES SUPPORTED BY HICKORY GROVE
Present Age Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to combating the sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking of teen girls. We equip communities to identify at-risk teen girls through prevention and awareness education and to support survivors through holistic, individualized care.

Ground 40 helps men transition back into the community from homelessness, addiction, and incarceration.
- Ground 40 would like to have Christian men willing to walk alongside the men going through their recovery program. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact or 704-531-4015 with questions.
Gate Pregnancy Resource Center is a Gospel-centered organization whose mission is to minister to the needs of those facing difficult pregnancy decisions by providing hope, help, and healing.
