HG Kids
Requirement
In order to serve at Hickory Grove you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an active member of Hickory Grove.
- Must have an approved background check.
- Must be willing to participate in volunteer training.
Awana
Be a part of the hundreds of volunteers who pass the torch of the Gospel to the next generation through our Wednesday night Awana program.
For the 26-27 year, Leadership Training will be on Sunday, August 16. The year kicks off on Wednesday, August 26.
Opportunities Available
- Captain (WEEKLY): Invest in a group of 10–15 children by participating with them in Large Group, cheering them on in Game Time, and leading them in memory games during Handbook Time.
- Coach (WEEKLY): Invest in a smaller group of 4–6 children by doing one-on-one discipleship in the form of listening to them recite Scripture from memory or by helping them with their memory work.
- Game Time Line Leader: Have a blast helping the Game Time Director facilitate games in the gym.
- Greeter: Welcome families and assist guests with check-in, finding their classrooms, and providing them with basic information about Hickory Grove and the HG Kids Ministry.

Special Needs
Help serve our special needs group, ages elementary through high school during our 11 AM service on Sunday mornings. No special certifications or extra training required!
