Matt Phipps serves as the Discipleship Pastor at the Harris Campus of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. He has been serving our church since 1994.

He earned a B.S. in Communications from Wingate College as well as a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as a Doctor of Educational Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastor Phipps is married to Christa Phipps, and together, they have two children: Abigayle and Margaret.
