New Hampshire Baptist Confession
Early American Baptists drafted the New Hampshire Baptist Confession to clarify doctrinal boundaries in the face of radical fringe positions on either side of the sovereignty of God and responsibility of man discussion. This confession demonstrated that Christians (and Baptists in particular) can hold differing views on this issue and still fall within the boundaries of orthodoxy.
